FIMABIO was founded on June 2, 2016

The creation of an interprofession of the BIO sector in Morocco is done in the precise framework, launched by the Green Morocco Plan, of the organization of the sectors as specified by the law 12-03 on the Agricultural and Halieutic Interprofessions.
Thus, and after discussion and unanimous adoption of the statutes presented to the assembly, FIMABIO was created, as stipulated in the statutes, by including the three exclusive members who compose it, namely the associations ANAPROBIO, VALBIO and ANADEXBIO and which represent respectively the activities (or colleges) of the production, the valorization and the marketing/exportation, which compose all the BIO sector in Morocco

On 18 March 2021, the general assembly met to decide on a new organization of Fimabio and decided to make the three professional associations departments that will be involved in all activities and decision-making
